A portrait of my boy, once a week, every week, in 2015.
After a few very cold days, we jumped at our opportunity to go outside. We had traded the cold for the damp but I didn’t mind and Odin didn’t seem to either. He was happy to be outdoors and excitedly carried his basket over to collect pinecones and sticks in the yard. On our way back in, Odin froze to watch the workers next door. He asked me about the trees in the neighbor’s yard and was genuinely worried for their safety with all the heavy machinery. He loves construction vehicles but doesn’t like to see them destroy beautiful things. After the mist dampened our clothes enough to notice, we ran inside to build with the things we had collected.
