14/52 Odin’s dirty hands opening seed packets, definitely feels like Spring. We spent the day helping out at Boatyard Farm, planting French Breakfast Radishes and Arugula and Spinach. I bought myself a new bike with my tax return and a friend has offered me her bike trailer for Odin. We are getting helmets and a bike lock soon and I’m excited to start riding everywhere. I remember talking about that life change in an interview with Kirsten Rickert last year and I’m happy I’m finally working my way towards that change. We will be biking to Boatyard Farm two to three times a week this summer to help out with planting, caring for, and harvesting as well as running the farm stand. I’ve been missing working retail (mostly just the customer service aspect) and am probably more excited than I should be about this idea! Odin loves hanging out with our friends at the farm and I think it’ll be great to give him little jobs throughout the summer. The farm is run by two of our friends and we’re excited to play a small part.
